The V60's shape doesn't change across versions — what changes is the material, and that changes how the brew behaves. Plastic holds almost no heat itself, so the water stays in control. Ceramic holds heat once preheated, for a hotter, more consistent brew. Glass and steel sit in between, traded for looks or durability.
